Tokyo is the only city where I don’t spend any time researching restaurants or looking at reviews.
I literally just walk in any direction and if any place looks cool I go in. Every single time the food has been amazing. Yet to have and meal in Japan.

on the other hand a different random restaurant run by an old couple had amazing food +3

I went to lunch in downtown at a random Ramen place and I had all these celery men behind me laughing because I didn't know how to operate the vending machine. I look like a giant cigarette machine. I didn't know what coins were what, so I just put in a bunch of different ones since all what happened and pushed a bunch of buttons when the waitress came over to help +1
