i think this song is about Miku keeps getting rejected by the same person across multiple lives. Every time they reject her she kills them. That way, they’re both forced to be reborn again. It’s her twisted way of trying to start over, to get another chance at making them fall in love with her. The line "Let’s definitely meet again in the next life?" and the lyric "I’ll fall in love again and again" That’s her obsession repeating in every life. When she says "Die now!" it’s the moment she’s been rejected again. and she kills them again

この曲をループ再生すると、タイムラインが一周するのを見ているみたいだ。屋上にいるミクが最新/最後の転生で、最後に映るヒマワリ畑のミクが最初。だから、曲が0>1で始まり、ミクが愛する人を殺す時に変身する魔法少女の姿になるのが理解できる。(最後のシーンで、魔法少女の姿で血まみれの武器を持っているのが見える) ヒマワリ畑の終わりのカットは、ミクが初めて拒絶された時で、転生ループが始まった時だろう。
If you place the song on loop it' like seeing the timeline go full circle. With rooftop Miku being the most recent/last reincarnation, while the sunflower Miku we see at the end of the song is the first. Which would make sense why the song opens up with 0>1 and Miku's magical girl form which she seems to transform into when killing the person she loves. (seeing as during the end sequence she is seen in magical girl form holding bloodied weapons her other reincarnations held earlier on) The cut we see of the end of the sunflower field is likely the first ever time Miku is rejected and when the reincarnation loop begins.

I really love the fact that the very last attempt mark can be translated as“Beginningless Life and Death”. I like to think that because they’re stuck in an eternal loop(samsara), they now don’t even remember how it all started, and are just going through the same all over again. This song in general really seems to be about the overall loss of meaning and feeling in the love the person and Miku used to have, and replacing it with the need of “doing it right” every single time, at least imo.

Literally just when I'm starting to get into NAKISO, they drop a song not only pretty much perfectly aligning with a bunch of my tastes but with an MV done by Channel too! I love this! All the Miku designs are great but I think my favorites are the one with the eyepatch and messy hair in front of the wall of photos and the door chain cutting one with bangs over one of her eyes (her hairstyle lowkey reminds me of Ame from Needy Streamer Overload lol)

Another detail is that if the number shown throughout the clip represents how many times she carried out the deed on the 31th, 17 million years of this lifestyle, spread over the single month of August 2007, pass by with this music.
